Many individuals have aches and pains though out their bodies and may times those aches and pains seem unrelated.
But are they really?
As everyone knows the body is made up of muscle groups that work together to create specific movements but what is hard for many to understand is that the muscle groups are all connected. There truly isn’t a separation. They are all connected by Myofascial Tissue. So if you have a tight muscle in one part of the chain you could have pain in other areas of the chain that seem completely unrelated.
Think about this…You have muscles that are tight in the front of your thigh (quadriceps) and your back could be sore. In looking at reducing pain we need to look at the body as a whole and not just where the pain is located.
The picture shows a couple of the many muscle pathways within the body.
These shown are the Superficial Backline Anatomy Trains. As you can see they travel from head to toe and through out the body. This is why sometimes it takes awhile to figure out he cause of pain and how to treat it.
The body needs balance in order to remain pain free.
